What commoner doesnt dream of being a princess? With the exception of Kate Middleton actually becoming one, us ordinary folks have always been fascinated with the British Monarchy, especially their jewelry (or more specifically for me, the Queens gorgeous collection of tiaras.)

Now as we enter into the Queens 60th year on the throne, known as her Diamond Jubilee, the Royals jewels are going on exhibition this summer at Buckingham Palace. On display will be the Queens tiaras, brooches as well as many other jewelry items either passed down from previous generations or those she acquired during her reign.

This fall it was The Muppets Show that inspired nail brand OPI to create a 12-shade polish line bearing quaint names such as Getting Miss Piggy with It, Wocka Wocka! and Fresh Frog of Bel Air. The next feat in this field belongs with nail brand China Glaze who went after the much-talked-of upcoming film The Hunger Games featuring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Elizabeth Banks.
