I know we’re all saying “We can pickle that!” these days, but show the birds some love, okay? In honor of the start of the second season of Portlandia, Jennifer from Naughty Secretary Club created a tutorial for this awesomely kitschy bird brooch. I kind of really want one, and I bet you do too. So, what’re you waiting for? Go ahead and put a bird on it!

Aussie apparel company, Butter Goods have just released a video to accompany their AW 2011 lookbook.
Riding in the streets of Perth and Freo captures the bread-n-butter of the coming clothing collection.
Shredding some more obscure spots in the two cities are Alex Campbell, Glenn Palmer, Morgan Beatty, Ricky Watt and the newest addition to Stacks, Barry Mansfield.
Founded in 2008, the skatewear label is fully owned and operated by skateboarders, which transpires through their work.

As we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Savior, we also acknowledge Christ’s suffering and death. Jesus’ truest purpose in coming into the world as a baby was to die for our sins as a man. The symbol of the cross is as important to Christmas as it is to Easter.

What commoner doesnt dream of being a princess? With the exception of Kate Middleton actually becoming one, us ordinary folks have always been fascinated with the British Monarchy, especially their jewelry (or more specifically for me, the Queens gorgeous collection of tiaras.)
Now as we enter into the Queens 60th year on the throne, known as her Diamond Jubilee, the Royals jewels are going on exhibition this summer at Buckingham Palace. On display will be the Queens tiaras, brooches as well as many other jewelry items either passed down from previous generations or those she acquired during her reign.
