Platinum ‘the finest metal’ for bridal jewellery
Many people are now recognizing that platinum is the finest metal for bridal jewellery, it has been claimed.
Michael A Han, president of The Wedding Ring Shop in Honolulu, Hawaii, and a Preferred Platinum Partner, claims that with the current hike in gold prices, opting for platinum jewellery is a “no brainer”, reports diamonds.net.
He is quoted as saying: “We have certainly seen a strong momentum in platinum bridal sales this year. Our customers already know that platinum is the finest metal for bridal.”
According to the news provider, jewellery designers continue to create fantastic pieces of platinum jewelry for both men and women, and that this will continue throughout the 2010 Christmas season.
It is also noted that the end of the year is the most popular time for couples to get engaged and in preparation, 56 per cent of retailers have bought additional platinum to cater for this market.
